As we look ahead to the end of 2011, we must also look back to lessons learned in the previous years. Putting them all together, our focus must be growth and taking our relationship with the Lord seriously. We do that by filling our minds and our hearts with the Word of God. The theme for 2011 has been Colossians 3:16 - Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
How does one let the word of Christ dwell in them richly? Well, that comes by hard work in spending time in the Word of God, memorizing the Word of God and allowing the Word of God to transform your way of thinking, reasoning and prioritizing. God’s people should be filled to overflowing with His Word so that when they open their mouths, God’s word would burst forth like a dam that has its gates open gushing forth water.
